Postcards From The Edge
My Own Words In My Own Way
Rain
The mad misty rain
Slowly clogged the streets
Damping down the fire
That burnt slowly underneath
In the gutters turgid dwelling
The infants cries went unceased
Caught in limbo between two worlds
No mothers comfort in reach
